I’ve been playing the 3k Nightly on Wsop.com regularly for a while now. I won it once about 10 months ago and since then have come up short… a few 2nd’s. I was beginning to doubt my heads-up prowess as I finished in a string of tournaments (like 8 to 10) in second place. As poker players, we really shouldn’t sweat results much, especially on any kind of short term scale. 8 to 10 headsup matches? Ok, I should definitely

Right after winning a hand is when you really shouldn’t say anything. … and most of us know that. Give the new players a break when they win a hand and say ty, though. They were probably just eager to to FINALLY say ty to a nh. It is a little online poker tradition to say nh to someone when they win a big pot, which is usually promptly returned with a ty. The first time someone said nh to me, must have been a nice experience.
Well ok… don’t get too excited. I haven’t figured out a way to earn 55% on WSOP.com in Nevada. In fact, I won’t even be getting 55% the entire month, but for about the first 15 days, I will be earning 55% in rakeback due to a stacking of some of their promotions. The first Promo is the 2016 WSOP Reload Bonus. This is a match deposit bonus that anyone can earn. It started at the beginning of the Live World

Meeting a rewards goal such as Seven Stars can have significant rewards. Seven Stars players generally get free rooms when visiting the Total Rewards hotels as well as receiving perks such as a free cruise, an Atlantis free hotel in the nicest studio room, as well as better perks for playing in the casino. If you can play poker and make money while doing it, is there a downside? Well, the answer to that is different from every person but

Total Reward benefits is one of the advantages of playing online poker on WSOP in Nevada. In 2015, I earned over 70,000 app’s and earned Diamond Aspiration I. While I had planned on using it in California and taking a break from online poker completely, I instead decided to use it at Lake Tahoe where I could still play some on WSOP. I am determined to make Seven Stars in 2016 and figured I’d post a few hundred point days

Winner’s tilt? I’d never even heard of that before watching Dutch Boyd’s twitch stream one evening. I’ve always felt I play much better when I’m winning… usually I believe that if I could just catch a couple good hands, I’d calm down and play better. I’m not certain of how much better I play when I’m winning, but I’m certain I play a much lower variance style. I keep out of marginal situations, with a general thought process of “oh,

Final table of the $50 freezeout on WSOP (I finished 2nd), I 3bet all-in from the Big Blind versus a player’s open. Immediately, I catch Name Tilt. Usually it comes from amateur players that are not used to seeing me at the tables everyday, but this player is somewhat regular, so I was a little surprised. It was still a little funny though. I know it sucks to get 3-bet on your steal when the stack is just too big

Most players will name their online poker username as something that identifies them or something they like in life. I have a bit of a different approach. I look at every decision in online poker as a potentially profitable decision. Is it possible to name yourself in a way that would cause a player to make bad in game decisions against you? The answer to that is Absolutely Yes. Of course it doesn’t happen all the time and in fact, I
