Caesars Palace Spa & Fitness Center

Caesars Palace Spa & Fitness Center

Que Bath and Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas One major benefit for Seven Stars members, especially local Las Vegas members, is the free access to the Fitness Center and Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. I’ve been enjoying the gym and the spa regularly since earning Seven Stars last year. Caesars Palace Spa Unlike the other spas in the Total Rewards portfolio, the Que Bath and Spa at Caesars feels like a true luxury spa experience and not just

Seven Stars by Total Rewards – Alternating Years

Seven Stars by Total Rewards – Alternating Years

updated 10/1/2017 Seven Stars was harder and more costly to reach than I thought it would be, but it became worth it once I discovered that I’d receive the Seven Stars benefits twice. Strangely though, this mechanism of receiving the benefits twice means I’ve already received them for 2017, even though I have not yet earned Seven Stars in 2017. It kinda makes sense that Total Rewards would do it this way as all but the biggest whales would earn

Seven Stars Status by Total Rewards – First Timer Tip

Seven Stars Status by Total Rewards – First Timer Tip

Twice! That’s how many times you get your Seven Stars benefits the first time you achieve the level. You get your $500 dinner celebration twice! You get your Annual Retreat twice! The catch is that it takes a while to receive your Seven Stars membership for the first time and the benefits do not load for another week or so after that. Finishing up before the New Years This was my idea: I’d take a trip to my favorite hotel

Seven Stars via WSOP.com

Seven Stars via WSOP.com

Accruing almost 80,000 Total Rewards points in 2015 only through online poker play on WSOP.com suggested to me that reaching the coveted Seven Stars level at 150,000 points in 2016 was not out of the question. Though I intended at the start of the year to do the whole thing with online poker, it quickly became apparent that was not possible, at least not without playing too much poker and likely suffering for it with a lower earn rate –

Seven Stars – now waiting

Seven Stars – now waiting

Giddy with excitement on December 29 when I expected WSOP.com to credit my play for the month, I checked my Total Rewards account early in the morning to find my points having crossed the threshold to Seven Stars but my account still sitting at Diamond. In the next 24 hours, I would learn that it can take 2-3 weeks for a first-time Seven Stars status to be credited and that Seven Stars benefits do not take effect until February 1.

Total Rewards end of year TIPS

Total Rewards end of year TIPS

Updated Dec 3, 2017 Approaching the end of the year, it is a good idea to make sure you know where you stand with the Total Rewards program. Since tier points reset on January 1 and tier points determine what level you reach for the year, which you keep for 5 months into the following year, as well as which milestone perks such as Diamond Aspirations, if you are close to reaching a higher tier, you may want to put

Tips for booking Atlantis!

Tips for booking Atlantis!

Booking your Total Rewards Atlantis Vacation Update March 2017: Be aware that while this promotion has been maintained for 2017, most of the packages have been reduced a little. For example, the base Seven Stars no longer has a $100/day folio credit. This year Total Rewards has offered its members a fantastic promotion with the amazing Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. I would recommend everyone who is able to take advantage of this to absolutely do it as rates at

2 months & 16k tier points to go

2 months & 16k tier points to go

This has been a long and eventful year with tons of traveling and tons of poker. I’m ready to increase the traveling and reduce the poker! When I set out to reach Seven Stars at the beginning of the year, I didn’t quite understand the stress it would put on me. It’s just a tad too much play on a monthly basis. In fact, I probably would have given up if not for some bonus points awarded through a promotion.

Spa day!

Spa day!

Continuing with my once-a-week spa-day in Las Vegas, this time I visited Paris Las Vegas. While the fitness center was slightly more stocked than Harrah’s, I just can’t stand not having windows! Running on the treadmill while watching the happenings at the Harrah’s pool was a far better experience for me. For more on that… Paris Las Vegas Spa and Fitness Center Review (Paris Spa by Mandara)   Paris Diamond Lounge The Diamond Lounge on the other hand was in

Harrah’s Fitness Center and Diamond card use

Harrah’s Fitness Center and Diamond card use

With all the benefits we receive from Total Rewards for being Diamond Card members, I seem to neglect to use them. There are freeroll grinders in this town who only survive due to Diamond Lounges… I decided to spend an afternoon on the strip and enjoy the Harrah’s Spa and Fitness Center and then fill myself on the free finger foods at the Harrah’s Diamond Lounge (actually they had Orange Chicken which was great!). When I arrived at the 4th
