The person behind it is just an average online poker grinder, with no significant results to show. I prefer cash games over tournaments.
The name Donkinurmum came about as kind of a joke. I prefer names that kind of razz the other players, but I didn’t want to come straight out and say YourMomIsUgly — although that too is a funny username.
So say Donkinurmum anyway you want:
Donking your mom – Like donk betting (leading into her raise) your mom who is playing at the game.
Donk in your mom – like a donkey has an appendage inside your mom. Personally, I think you have a dirty mind if you read it this way!

I woke up today to a new email from WSOP.com with an interesting promo and I thought I’d share my thoughts on it. First though, I’d like to get one gripe out of the way. updated 10/1/2017 Seven Stars was harder and more costly to reach than I thought it would be, but it became worth it once I discovered that I’d receive the Seven Stars benefits twice. Twice! That’s how many times you get your Seven Stars benefits the first time you achieve the level. You get your $500 dinner celebration twice! You get your Annual Retreat twice! Accruing almost 80,000 Total Rewards points in 2015 only through online poker play on WSOP.com suggested to me that reaching the coveted Seven Stars level at 150,000 points in 2016 was not out of the question. Giddy with excitement on December 29 when I expected WSOP.com to credit my play for the month, I checked my Total Rewards account early in the morning to find my points having crossed the threshold to Seven Stars but my account still sitting at Diamond. In the next 24 hours, I would learn that it can take 2-3 weeks for a first-time Seven Stars status to be credited and that Seven Stars benefits do not take effect until February 1.

This has been a long and eventful year with tons of traveling and tons of poker. I’m ready to increase the traveling and reduce the poker! When I set out to reach Seven Stars at the beginning of the year, I didn’t quite understand the stress it would put on me. It’s just a tad too much play on a monthly basis. In fact, I probably would have given up if not for some bonus points awarded through a promotion.
